I can be hired for art stuff. I don't know why anybody would, but since people ask me to do freebies
I figured I should set some kind of basic price scale. This is bendable, and depends on many factors,
like deadlines or lack thereof, who keeps the rights, yadda yadda yadda. The price will also be at the
higher end of the scale depending on how much there is in the picture and how detailed you want it.
In all cases, if you want a
nice shiny printed copy, you pay for shipping. If you want it on super duper cool slick paper, it'll
be a few bucks more. It's really a case-by-case basis, some people will get discounts galore and others
will have something for which I need to raise the price drastically (like if you want 5 characters in one
piece, you're definitely getting a price hike), but this is a basic "in the ballpark" list.
Black and White Pencil Sketches
1 character, no background - $5-10
1 character, partial background - $10-15
1 character, full background - $15-20
2 or more characters, no background - $10-40
2 or more characters, partial background - $20-55
2 or more characters, full background - $30-60
Landscape or anything not involving characters - $10-30
Full-color Digital Work
1 character, no background - $40-60
1 character, partial background - $50-70
1 character, full background - $60-90
2 or more characters, no background - $80-110
2 or more characters, partial background - $80-120
2 or more characters, full background - $100-150
If you can't afford me.. well, I'm sorry. But I need money too, and it takes a while to get pictures
done well, and if you're paying me, believe me I'll do a fabulous job. If you're lucky and you have
a subject that interests me enough, I might be persuaded to give you a freebie. I'll also do art trades
if I like your style. If you still can't afford me, there are many great artists out there who are
cheaper and some who take freebies, so good luck. I don't have the time and can't afford to.
